Grown by members of Koperasi Baitul Qiradh Baburrayyan — a dedicated cooperative in the highland regions of Aceh and Takengon at 1,100 to 1,600 meters. Tim Tim, Typica, Ateng, Onan Ganjang, and Jember varieties — a diverse collection of regional cultivars that together produce a cup with the kind of depth and character that has made Sumatran coffee legendary among specialty coffee drinkers worldwide.
Processed using Giling Basah — the traditional wet-hulling method unique to Indonesia — which gives Sumatra its unmistakable syrupy body, low acidity, and deep earthy richness that no other processing method can replicate.
The tasting profile is bold and complex. Dark chocolate, dried fruit, and earthy depth come together in a cup with medium acidity, a thick syrupy body, and a long lingering finish that stays with you well after the last sip. This is coffee that demands to be noticed.
